Well I’m super excited about this upcoming show at the Rainbow, finally able to do what I love to do most again! I’ve been locking myself down and writing some new material, which I will whip out for a pallet of new ears this Tuesday. To be honest, I’m still writing a few of them now but it’s kinda fun to have a deadline, a reason to push myself to do it… I want them on the next album after all. The more time I spend with music, the more balanced I am. Another reason to be excited for it is the most ironic part of the show, which we called “Bringing back the $5 acoustic show” on the pretty flyer that spelled my name without an “h” at the end (oops), is that I get the chance to plug in my new PRS custom semi-hollow electric for the first time!
She’s a beaut, huh?
And yep, my computer desk wears blue suede shoes, like a true pal.
So for anyone that’s in Ottawa this week, the show is this Tuesday, Jan 10th at The Rainbow (76 Murray Street) for $5, and opening will be C.c. Trubiak and Derek Conelly.
